YA Events was honored to partner once again with the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP) to execute their 6th Annual Carnival in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day. This large-scale, inclusive event welcomed over 5,500 attendees of all ages and abilities, creating a space filled with joy, awareness, and unity.

The carnival featured thoughtfully designed games that were accessible and engaging for individuals with diverse abilities. Attendees enjoyed a vibrant mix of food and craft stalls that catered to both children and adults, making the event a delightful experience for the entire family.

A key highlight was the introduction of ‘Kahani Ghar’, an imaginative story space that captivated children through live storytelling and dramatized performances. Esteemed contributors included:

  • Khaled Anam, who enchanted audiences with musical storytelling

  • A theatrical play by Shehzad Ghias featuring the character Chimpu

  • An adventure tale by Azcorp Entertainment

  • A dramatic reading by Zambeel Dramatic Readings exposing the tale of a conniving Vazir and an arrogant Raja

In line with KDSP’s 2020 World Down Syndrome Day Campaign, the event also featured the launch of a powerful awareness video aimed at building bridges, breaking glass ceilings, and reshaping societal perceptions.

This event reflects YA Events’ unwavering commitment to inclusive planning, impactful storytelling, and community engagement.
